I'm searching for ways to achieve transparency in Windows 11. I've tried and/or activated the suggestions found online. The steps include adjusting settings in Personalization, Accessibility, and Explorer options, modifying registry keys, and enabling advanced effects. However, despite these changes, elements like the taskbar and certain apps still display full opacity. (Note: I can apply transparency to the Terminal app, but its settings differ.) It seems my hardware might be outdated and unable to support transparency features. Please let me know if you have more details or need further help.

Does your Windows 11 Home setup appear to be activated? Yes.
My machine is quite old, but it managed to install Windows 11 and started up in just about six seconds. It runs Adobe CC Photoshop and Premiere, Autodesk Meshmixer, Android Studio, and works with WSL/WSA without any issues. If it struggles with certain transparency effects, I'd be quite taken aback.

When using Windows 11 on unsupported devices, any problems are likely due to the operating system or hardware limitations.

True, Win 11 isn't officially supported, yet it doesn't really address the issue. The transparency effects in Win 11 are comparable to those in Win 10, and the OS was available. I'm hoping someone could clarify, for example, "Oh you have 128 MB of VRAM, the problem is Windows transparency needs at least 129 MB" or something similar, to understand why it won't work. Otherwise, it might just be a software conflict.

I think the GPU driver was set to Intel HD Graphics Family, but that doesn't seem right. Otherwise it would have been included in Windows Update or found during automatic driver search.

The power plan you are using is high. It might help.
