Updating your SSD to the latest firmware will get you going. The S70 blade gets good reviews. If you prefer mATX, the Lancool 205 mesh offers solid value for money. I own the same case and find it a solid budget pick! Photos attached.
Sorry, here are your questions rephrased:
1. From what I understand, I can't overclock without a z790 chipset motherboard, is that right? Should I then choose the 14700 instead? (Perhaps not since 14700k still offers a higher base clock speed)
2. The motherboard information says using an m.2 slot will make the SATA8 slot unavailable. I thought this meant I could only have two more SSDs or HDDs if I use the m.2 slot. Is that accurate?
New updates on DeepCool AIOs are emerging, featuring quieter pumps and reduced costs – HWCooling.net reports. While these models appear similar to the older LT SE series, a key change lies in the pump speed. It operates at a slower rate, producing less noise without compromising cooling efficiency. Additionally...
The article notes that the coolers resemble the more premium DeepCool LS SE models, though with minor differences such as dimensions (91 × 80 × 52 mm) and a slower pump speed of 2550 rpm compared to the latest 4th generation. This results in a 550 rpm reduction at top speed and a quieter operation of about 1.2 dBA. However, flow rates may be lower, potentially affecting cooling performance. The noise difference remains uncertain, but slowing the pump could help achieve a quieter baseline.
The LE model employs higher static pressure fans compared to the LS520S. Consider opting for the LS520S, though its price might be a concern.
I’m set to purchase the PC this weekend. I made minor adjustments, opting for a DeepCool CH360 Digital case since it fits within the available desk space (under 450mm in height and length). I also updated the cooler and power supply.
Before committing, I had a couple of concerns:
1. Many dealers pushed the idea of DDR5 RAM, assuming it would boost performance. Was the improvement substantial enough? Alongside the RAM change, I’ll need to replace the motherboard, but I couldn’t locate any Z series models in M-ATX form.
2. I discovered several versions of Cooler Master MWE 1050. Should I stick with the V2 ATX 3.0 variant?
(My friend also recommended well-known brands such as Samsung, Kingston, and Corsair, and he isn’t confident about MSI motherboards.)
Here’s the final configuration:

I recommend the PXG1000 from deepcool, as it offers a budget-friendly option with average performance from Cooler Master. https://mdcomputers.in/deepcool-1000-wat...0b-uk.html The difference in gaming performance between DDR4 and DDR5 is minimal. MSI stands out as a solid brand with extensive experience in designing mobos. I wouldn’t alter your choice. You’re spending too much on the monitor. The price of 40k isn’t reflective of that model’s market value. If you wish to invest slightly more, consider these alternatives and check reviews on RTings.com Contact MDcomputers for price matching or discounts on combined purchases. They should be willing to offer a deal.
Thank you, I will switch PSU. Even in local stores the cheapest is 39,800 rupees. I was hoping for a 2k 27" 240hz monitor, do you have any other suggestions? I saw an Acer model that’s 300hz at 27k rupees but it shows too much ghosting. Also, I’m having trouble finding the monitors you mentioned in Indian shops. I also have another choice, the XL2546K with a 24.5 inch display, which should cost less than 33k. Originally I planned to buy an AW2723DF, but after watching comparison videos, M27Q X seems to offer similar performance at a much lower price. Currently, MD Computers has a total of 274k, with some items out of stock. In local markets I’m seeing prices around 261-265k, and a few shops are giving a 5% discount if you pay in cash.
