Could you attempt relocating the game to the alternate drive and let me know?
I changed rust to another drive, after they both reached 100, rust's error appeared and my C drive dropped from 100 but my G drive remained at 100. I'm reinstalling steam on the C drive now to check for a bad G drive.
Another observation is that during the installation of Rust on the C drive, it frequently operated at 99% capacity, even reaching 100%. I'm uncertain if this is typical or not, as it might be related to the RAM usage, possibly confirming the tech expert's suggestion.
Additional information now available, with steam and rust set up on the C drive. Only the C drive reaches full performance once rust begins. Previously, both G drive and C drive were at 100%. Also, a new error occurred when launching Rust; screenshot attached.
G: drive?
Is "G" correct or might it be a mistake?
How many drives are connected?
Launch Disk Management, expand it to display all drives and their details.
Capture the screen and share it via imgur (www.imgur.com).
Also, if any gaming apps are running, turn them off temporarily for testing. Check if the issue persists.
Regarding Error 29 EAC.

From the article:
"The EAC abbreviation means EasyAntiCheat and it’s the system that detects cheaters and hackers to block them. The problem arises when the EAC client can’t form a stable link, which should confirm no cheats are active. If the connection fails, this message appears and the game won’t start."
