I've been browsing the internet for a week and tried all possible solutions (and most forums recommended similar steps). Each time I open Rust, it immediately shows up in the initial loading screen, then my whole PC freezes, followed by an error from Rust stating "unable to start game." I've opened Task Manager multiple times and checked both SSDs—everything seems normal except for the high usage. I've also reinstalled Steam and Rust, updated drivers, performed a factory reset, wiped and reformatted the gaming SSD, scanned with Windows Defender, used a RAM checker, and verified the SSD status. The power supply is functioning correctly. Now I’ve reset my PC completely and have no other ideas except it might be a hardware problem. Since both SSDs are at 100%, I suspect an issue with my current RAM. If I can't fix this soon, I'm going to buy new parts—please help, I'm getting really frustrated!

How much space is occupied by the SSD? Is there any malware detected on the system?

Since the issue is happening on two drives and persists despite all your previous attempts, it likely points to an app or configuration problem.
Start by booting the computer normally without launching any apps, browsers, or games.
Check Task Manager, Resource Monitor, and Process Explorer (Microsoft, free) to observe what processes are active after startup.
Visit the provided link for guidance: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinte...s-explorer
Utilize all three tools sequentially, but focus on one at a time.
Give the system some time to stabilize before continuing.
If applications and utilities repeatedly open, close, or remain active, investigate why they are behaving this way.
The goal is to identify what might be continuously reading from or writing to the SSDs.
If the system boots without issues and SSD usage remains normal, proceed to launch apps one by one, pausing between each attempt.
Patience is key—change only one element at a time.
The underlying cause may become clear soon, either immediately or after further troubleshooting.

Just to check, I'm running a quick scan for crystal disk details on both disks. Please share the screenshots.

I'm coming from rust forums and trying to find someone with the same problem. When I start the game, the PC freezes briefly then shows an error saying "Failed to start the game (2)." I've tried everything possible, but moving the game to another drive helped a bit, though the freeze still happens. I don't know what's causing it, especially since we have the same processor and motherboard I got—X570 AORUS ELITE WIFI and Ryzen 7 5800x.

Performed the malware scan from Windows Security, both online and offline, and no issues were detected.

Oh wow... It's really odd... I wish we could discover a solution, my friend.
