Hello everyone, I wanted to share my thoughts on free antivirus options. I've been using Avast for a long time without any problems, and it provides good warnings about unsafe websites or files. I think most free programs offer decent protection, though they might not have the same advanced features as paid ones like Norton or McAfee. Combining it with anti-spyware tools has also been beneficial. Do you feel you're missing something by skipping premium protection? Let me know if you'd like more advice!

I consider them more bothersome than helpful. I rely on Windows firewall with tailored entries when necessary, plus occasional system scans. I haven’t encountered a virus in nearly two years using this approach. Unless you browse questionable sites and you can identify genuine download buttons, you should be safe.

I've been employing AVG Antivirus (free edition) together with Malwarebytes, and it performs excellently.
