What I meant is that iMacs tend to have bad cooling. A long gaming session can get them very hot, which isn't ideal for your components and can cause throttling, leading to lower frame rates.
It's fair, folks like me and the original poster remain focused on viewing this as a negative point. If they invested more effort and secured more Triple A championships, they'd become a real threat. Plus, a better price-to-performance balance would strengthen their position.
Back then, my CPU hit about 100 unless the temp tracking app was bad. Finding anything was tough. Apart from that, I’d rather use a Mac than a PC most of the time—except when I want to play games.
