While I'm open to the possibility, it didn't work for me. At first, I attempted it using a FAT16 drive, but the process halted after a few flashes—clearly an error. Once I reformatted the USB stick to FAT32 and kept it on, it functioned properly. My experience: all hardware was present (GPU, CPU, RAM), power was supplied to the drive, and I pressed the QFLASH button while turning on the PC (USB connected via the standard port). The flashing stopped, and I kept power until the system shut down. After removing the stick, I restarted. My reasoning for this outcome is uncertain, but I suspect a lack of support for my 1600X in the latest BIOS settings. It's just a guess, but if that's true, I wish more details were included in the BIOS documentation. If incorrect, I'm puzzled as to why it failed.
