Some EA titles got removed, but fans created mods that let them play freely on servers approved by the company. There are a few pirated versions of games like Minesweeper and Solitaire, plus EA-sanctioned emulators for World of Warcraft and other titles. If you build a game technically, it can be free to play.

Warframe (Destiny with content) is a Dota 2 MOBA-style strategy game packed with depth. It’s one of the few titles I’ve played lately, alongside PUBG.

I can completely attest to the fact that Warframe is a beyond amazing F2P game. None of that content should be free, great game overall and especially if you're into grindy equipment based games.

Can't force a win and they lock you out for hours after spamming Battlefield 4 hardcore just to get a team kill (since I'm done with that game at a serious level). BF3 shows up sometimes on Origin, and then it's about winning ruthlessly—killing friends, teammates, and even neighbors while laughing it off. ROLFMAO and repeat.

Tera Online offers refined action-driven fantasy experiences with adaptable character design and strong tab-target battles. The player base remains modest. DC Universe Online merges Tera elements with Champions, providing a substantial setting and a distinct DC atmosphere. RoboCraft lets you construct vehicles, aircraft, vehicles, and mechs for combat. Planetside 2 delivers a sci-fi MMO experience reminiscent of Battlefield, featuring a compelling world vibe. Starship Builders enables crafting ships, planes, cars, and robots for battle. Skyforge presents a third-person RPG with immersive storytelling. League of Legends features an isometric MOBA format, Dota 2 offers isometric MOBA gameplay, and Warframe provides a third-person sci-fi action shooter. Ragnarok Online delivers a traditional isometric fantasy MMORPG, while Unturned and 7 Days to Die blend isometric perspectives with varied gameplay styles. MineCraft-inspired Dungeon Defenders 2 offers a third-person tower defense with customizable hero classes. Brawlhalla channels Smash Bros energy in its online fighting format, Spiral Knights combines dungeon crawling with isometric exploration, and Trove serves as a MineCraft-style class-based dungeon adventure.

I usually go by the rule "If it's free then it's not worth my time." I just don't have the time for low-quality, free-to-play games. I'm okay spending money on games that are good and valuable. Still, many people enjoy Dota 2, and I might give it a try later when I've finished with other titles.
