I know some great free-to-play games. You might enjoy titles like Fortnite, Apex Legends, or Valorant. There are also many indie gems such as Stardew Valley and Among Us.

Search results reflect a good selection of free-to-play titles, with relevance matching the quality you're looking for.

I see, I’m happy to clarify. I’m currently spending around 35 CAD each year for Origin Access, and I’m impressed by the variety of games in Origin Vault.

With a 4-core, 4-thread CPU running at 2.5GHz, you can run PS2 games.

Warthunder is good, but you have to be into planes (world war 2 era) - it's multiplayer only. It has very good mouse and keyboard controls, no need for a joystick. They will also soon add on warships and it has a tank mode - like world of war tanks. The damage model is also very good (both on the tanks/ probably the navel battles too and definitely the planes). You have arcade mode (difficult to stall and you can't spin) all the way to simulation (engine overheating, oil leaks, vertical stalls etc).
