I run MS Defender on Windows 8, and I just transferred a keygen from my flash drive to my hard drive. As soon as the process ended, I received a notification and it deleted it.

We are very approachable (with a few exceptions). I personally use AVG, and it really delivers value.

I've started using MalwareBytes and MSE, they work well! I tried AVG before but didn't like it much. Thanks everyone!

Based on the size of your files, scanning will take longer with any scanner. For manual scans, using Malwarebytes Free is a good choice. You can also run Avira, Avast, or AVG alongside for extra protection.
