there was a period when my computer had unwanted software on it (i can’t recall exactly how). I noticed frequent pop-up ads. After a scan with Bitdefender Total Security, it reported everything was clean. Then I ran Malwarebytes and saw six adware programs appearing right away, which made me question Bitdefender’s reliability.
