The dying light doesn't indicate poor quality, just high demand.

It works perfectly on my 260x at 1080p with 35-55fps. A massive 260X! 🤯 While it might not suit every card, you won’t need a powerful GPU to enjoy it.

Dying Light performs well overall, and with some adjustments it can exceed expectations. It’s not a terrible port (though I’ve heard AMD cards still have problems). The PC version looks and feels noticeably better in shadows, textures, and graphics compared to the consoles. I share that opinion. However, certain rendering quirks—like film grain and color distortion—should be adjustable via the graphics settings. If they’re not, it’s a major oversight for developers and a sign of poor quality.

Dying Light isn't terrible, it just feels off. Most adjustments don't really change the FPS much except for textures and how far you see. You'll need a solid card to enjoy it well, but it's fine otherwise. Even lower-end options can work if you reduce textures/distance and accept around 30-40fps. It runs smoothly on my machine—60fps with some dips to 50 or a bit lower at 980 with 1440p. AC Unity is a nice bonus since I got it free from Nvidia, saving me from buying something unnecessary. It's playable, though not perfect. The worst launch I've seen lets you experience parts of BF4's disaster mode, and Dark Souls was a pretty unfinished port too.

FF13 & FF13-2 no visual settings at release. Fixed to 720p. FPS remains unchanged. Optimization incomplete—some users achieved 60fps in 4K with GTX 780. FF13-2 still lacks full optimization.
