Check the documentation for identifying conflicting block IDs in your modpack. Look into the provided report for guidance on resolving these issues.

Buildcraft is triggering the issue. Using applied energistics would be a better option. It was one of my favorites before. Applied energistics handles many things more effectively. I accidentally corrupted a section of my world where my house was located, which ruined the game save I saved. It looks like the problem isn’t a block ID conflict. It seems like an installation of the mod error. Downloading the wrong version, installing incorrectly, or having two mods clash could be the cause. IC2 might conflict with it. I’d probably remove buildcraft instead.

No specific block errors were detected. Modding Minecraft isn't my strong point, but it seems the creative menu isn't functioning properly when you press e.

I removed it and added the applied techniques, but it still crashed. I updated to a different version, and it functioned properly.

Display the crash report excluding BuildCraft. Test if it fails without either mod. Unable to assist if you alter the game and omit crash logs.

I understood, I saved the dev version instead of the standard one. For future issues, should I check the crash logs?

Told you it wasn't the right version. It really depends on the details. I don’t check one place for everything. This is something I’ve learned over time while modding Minecraft, especially when I run into issues. I’ll try to help you with this error, but it won’t be the same. Some are really hard to track down. "cpw.mods.fml.common.LoaderException: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: buildcraft.core.ItemBuildCraft.setCreativeTab(Lnet/minecraft/creativetab/CreativeTabsWinkLnet/minecraft/item/Item; this indicates a buildcraft issue at ItemBuildCraft.<init>." I’ll walk you through it, but the steps won’t match exactly. It’s about finding what’s wrong and fixing it.
