CPUs rarely stop working overall, and when they do, it's typically at the beginning of their lifespan. Overclocking changes that entirely.

Last year I had the chance to pick between two laptops: one with an Intel i5 8300h and another with an AMD Ryzen 3550h. I went for the first one because I believed Intel processors were more dependable. Now I'm wishing I had made a different choice.
