I set up AMD OverDrive to speed up my PC, but right after installation I kept encountering a blue screen. I've tried standard blue screen solutions, but they didn't help.

I understand where to locate it, but clicking it restarts my PC and takes me back to the recovery menu. Have you adjusted any BIOS settings via the BIOS interface? Just to confirm, reset the CMOS by connecting the RESET CMOS pins on your motherboard. Turn off the computer, disconnect power, short the pins together with a screwdriver for about 30 seconds, then reassemble. The pin positions should be listed in your motherboard manual.

The issue is that the recovery environment is supposed to be very secure, so if you can't access it, you might need to reinstall Windows. You could attempt a repair install using an in-place upgrade. The process is somewhat complex for beginners but detailed here...

I have set up AMD OverDrive to overclock my PC, but immediately after installation I encountered a blue screen. I'm only 13 and really need assistance resolving this issue. Have you installed any specific motherboard or processor?

Speichermedien: 1 TB SATA-Harddrive, DVD-Writer
Betriebssystem: Windows 10
Grafik & Video: 4 GB AMD Radeon RX 550

I installed AMD OverDrive to boost my PC's performance, but immediately after installation I encountered a blue screen. At only 13 years old, I really need assistance resolving this issue. I've tried various general blue screen fixes, but nothing has worked. Could you please tell me what motherboard and processor I have?

Here are the basic details of my system:
Processor & Memory:
AMD Ryzen 7 1700 at 3.0GHz
16GB DDR4 (2-DIMM) at 2666MHz RAM
Storage:
1TB SATA Hard Drive, DVD-Writer
Operating System:
Windows 10
Graphics & Video:
4GB AMD Radeon RX 550 Graphics

Please uninstall OverDrive. It was an overclocking tool for older AMD chips. For Ryzen processors like mine, the correct utility is RyzenMaster. If you can't reach the desktop, try letting the system fail to start a few times and enter recovery screens. Go into Safe Mode and perform the uninstallation then.

I’m not sure why my computer keeps showing the blue screen of death and it won’t let me enter safe mode on Windows. I don’t know what to do. If you can’t reach the desktop, you might need to let the system crash a few times before it goes into recovery screens. Then go into Safe Mode and try uninstalling the issue there.

the issue isn’t clear to me about my pc freezing on the blue screen of death and preventing safe mode access in windows. I’m unsure what steps to take. If I can’t reach the desktop, I might need to let the system fail a few times before entering recovery screens. From there, going into Safe Mode should work for uninstalling. However, I can’t enter Safe Mode directly—it just leads back to the recovery menu.

If I can’t reach the desktop, I might need to force the system to fail once or twice before it enters recovery screens. From there, I should go into Safe Mode and perform the uninstallation process.

But I’m stuck because Safe Mode just takes me back to the recovery menu. It’s one of the options there.

If I can’t reach the desktop, I might need to force the system to fail once and then try starting from there. Safe Mode is listed as an option in the recovery options.
