Amd CPU temp too high ? Help
Heat tends to rise and that's generally what happens with most motherboards... I often try to increase my CPU temperature and, when feasible, move my GPU heat away from the main area using the fan bay.
Ensure your fans are moving the video card away from the CPU... Overclocking could be too intense for the sink... or you might need to invest in higher-quality thermal paste.

Download amd overdrive to check your thermal margin, and also have an fx 6100 at 4.0 on the stock cooler. I've experienced temperatures as low as 10 degrees, which would be 60 degrees Celsius, but I believe the maximum was around 70 degrees Celsius.

It has dropped as low as a 10-degree margin, which would be around 60 degrees Celsius, but I believe its maximum was 70 degrees Celsius. My thermal margin is currently between 3.6 to 5, which is quite poor.
