Hey, compare the two motherboards: MSI MPG X570 GAMING PRO with carbon and Wi-Fi, plus an AM4 slot. MSI PRESTIGE X570 CREATION comes in AM4 already with a 10GB slot but costs £210 more than the first option.

Chosen MSI MPG X570 GAMING PRO Carbon WIFI AM4, more affordable with only two minor compromises: the rear USB ports and the 10G port which will need additional purchases. Power delivery is stronger during setup, but the compact form factor makes it less appealing since I’d have to use larger cases. Topic may be closed.

The X570 Gaming Carbon isn't the best pick. A more suitable alternative would be the X570 Tomahawk. Even the B550 Tomahawk model outperforms the Carbon.

I wasn't referring to godlike, carbon is ATX. Are you suggesting another option to consider? What makes it preferable? I'm purchasing it for the 5900x to avoid the B series. I almost bought it and will wait a bit longer to gather more feedback.

The VRM performs poorly on Gaming Carbon. You're questioning why B550 is being excluded? A strong example is the B550 Tomahawk, which is a reliable board capable of supporting a 5950X.

I think the distinctions between b550 and x570 are minimal. Either option should suit your needs.

I concur, Godlike is a superior option. It offers better VR settings and strong 10Gbps connectivity for both Wi-Fi and gaming. Tomahawk is decent, but Godlike truly stands out.

Carbon isn't the best, that's what everyone says. I prefer the Tomahawk—it's a solid choice.
