I'm working on a PC with these components: CPU i5 12600K, MSI Z690 PRO-A AIO with DDR4 Wifi, Lian Li Gallahad 240mm case (no LGA 1700 port), and a spare not available in India. The case is Lian Li Air Mini Black. Performance remains steady at around 100°C during gaming or streaming, with Cinebench R23 scores between 14-15K and idle temps of 35-45°C. I've attached a log from Intel XTU taken while playing Mafia II (Classic). I've applied Lian Li thermal paste, tightened screws, cleaned the case, but the issue persists. The AIO is positioned at the top with two Arctic 120mm fans and front/back case fans. BIOS is set to auto OC with XMP enabled, using an x=y fan curve. It worked initially but now consistently overheats without a fix. Let me know if you need more details. Appreciate your help. Thanks.

The issue lies in the fact that LGA 1700 has a smaller form factor compared to LGA 1200 and 15xx models. This results in poor thermal contact between the CPU and the cold plate.

Thank you for your message. You're looking for information on obtaining a bracket in India, as AliExpress isn't available there. Let me help with that.

I consider reaching out to Lian Li personally. I’m not certain about their usual process, but many organizations provide free adapters and brackets or cover shipping costs. This seems consistent with practices in the USA, Canada, and EU. I’m hoping Inidia follows a similar approach.

They've requested my address and contact info. I'm hoping they'll send it soon. I'll share updates on the experience and temperatures after installing the right bracket.

I got the LGA1700 bracket this morning after sending an email on Friday. It’s made of plastic and seems simpler to keep than the previous one. Attached are the logs from Cinebench R23 and Witcher 3. Temperatures appear consistent. I tightened the screws as much as needed and didn’t repaste since the original looked good. Please let me know what you think. Thanks. Always sanitize and refinish whenever you take off a heatsink. It’s probable your fan won’t work anymore. Avoid reaching 100°C when the system is only under 10% power.

I noticed the pump RPM on HWMonitor. I just rechecked it now. You can sense warmth in one of the pipes and hear water moving in the AIO. The logs from Cinebench R23 are attached.
