Analyzing your CPU and GPU performance during gaming or stress tests can guide us more accurately. If you haven’t updated the drivers for your old GPU before setting up the 4070 and installing its drivers, it’s best to do that first. Also, make sure to refresh Windows and other system drivers while you’re working. It might point out a CPU limitation, which could affect your choice. If you find yourself needing a 10700/10700K or 10900/10900K, consider purchasing one from eBay at a reasonable price. Keep in mind your motherboard is budget-friendly, so you might want to look for a compatible Z series board if you plan to use a K series processor.
I also play Valorant and League of Legends, and I've noticed the biggest FPS drops. Used to run at 200+ now League barely reaches 90, and Valorant struggles above 150. I play Apex, Sea of Thieves, and Valheim—Valheim seems to be in alpha or beta with poor optimization. For Sea of Thieves I saw a small FPS improvement, but Apex can't exceed 70 frames.
I removed the 2060 drivers but didn’t handle the PCIe cables. The video I saw about replacing a GPU only said to uninstall the previous card drivers.
The connector on the right fits into your GPU, while the connectors on the left link to the PCIe cables from your power supply. There might be three or four instead of two. Confirm everything is securely connected.

Everything appears to be connected properly. There’s one cable that seems loose, but I couldn’t locate its intended port. It hasn’t been connected since I installed the PC. I also ran some benchmark tests with MSI Afterburner, and it seems to perform better without WP Engine running—could that have been the problem? Also, please include a photo of the mysterious cable.
