Great, thank you for the suggestion! Would you prefer to wait and check the MyAsus download or go ahead with the other one?

The software from the computer's original equipment manufacturer is seldom the most recent release and rarely includes features beyond a modified driver installer bearing the brand name, except for occasional custom tweaks to GPU drivers. In the few exceptions, they might even tailor the firmware of specific parts. However, opting for an OEM package guarantees you receive the "approved" drivers, which is useful if you need vendor support or a replacement part.

The Realtek driver version is two years ahead of the one listed on the Asus site, but it's only been around for about two months now. This doesn't necessarily indicate significant updates during that period. It's uncommon to find detailed change logs for many component drivers, making it hard to confirm if this particular problem was addressed in any release.

Personally, I avoid downloading driver packages from external sources unless the OEM has integrated the driver into its software. Even then, you can usually still apply a newer version afterward.

It's likely Windows itself has already upgraded your driver during routine updates. The Device Manager will display the current version. Asus provides 1168.011.1206.2022, while Realtek lists 1168.022.

You should also look into AMD chipset driver updates directly from AMD. The Asus drivers are two and a half years old, and you might want to obtain graphics drivers from Nvidia and AMD as well, given the integrated graphics and added Nvidia support. Updating the outdated Asus Armoury Crate software could be beneficial if it's not current. Generally, I recommend removing it due to its bloatware nature, though on an Asus-branded laptop it might help keep the hardware more closely aligned with the software.

Well, you were correct about the AMD chipset drivers being outdated. I’m just now downloading what seems to be a fresh "adrenaline package." I also applied the latest RealTek update.

I want to share this (no jinx, lol), I installed everything except the two mentioned earlier. After restarting my computer and putting it into sleep mode, I woke up eight hours later and the system came back online perfectly!

Thanks a lot for your support—I really appreciate it!

Can we revert this to an unsolved status? It continues to shut down unexpectedly.

it's still shutting down unexpectedly. I've checked the reliability monitor and Event Viewer, but there aren't many concerning entries. It hasn't been happening over the past few days with many errors and warnings; most of it is just informational messages (in white, not red or yellow).
