Gaming at 1080p in 2018 with a GTX 1070. What are your thoughts? Is this a wasteful choice or a good one?
i'm working with a 1070 ti for my 1080p tv, so i'll keep it balanced

I play at 1080p using a 2080ti... but we don’t talk about it.
1080p remains popular among gamers. Increasing the refresh rate to 144hz or 240hz makes it even smoother.
I continue using a 720p screen.

1080p at 144hz and a 2080ti... for Overwatch. And BFV when I finally decide to buy it. I'm a sad person.
No, it's a massive waste of money. I think he'll reach at least 1440p soon. There are some rich options and others that aren't worth it.
It's all good. 1080p at 144Hz will work perfectly with the 1070.
