One year is more than most people think it is, unless they didn’t mind merging completely. It’s smarter to aim for the cooler part of the IHS to get a better nickel side and a flat copper side on the other end. Don’t skip the cooler either.

Thanks for the advice. I'm making good progress. Currently ranking 20th in TimeSpy SLI 2x. I'd like to reach 5.0Ghz and am considering purchasing 4400Mhz RAM in 4x8GB temporary to see if it helps. The memory has really boosted my score.

To reach the highest scores you need powerful equipment. When considering options beyond hwbot, they focus on performance per chip and per-core, making it possible for those with fewer resources to compete in tighter ranges. For instance, I’m into y-cruncher and at 10b test size, I currently hold records across 2, 6, and 12 cores. On the broader leaderboard, I left the top 20 recently, so I plan to improve that soon. Still unsure if my setup can handle it.

For a 5.00GHz setup, turn off all cores except one and aim for 5GHz. To maintain stable 5.00GHz performance, increase voltage to at least 1.5v. Avoid temperatures below 0°C using LN, dry ice, or regular ice.

I'm sending premium components, but maybe add some ice for extra chill or connect it straight to the drain.
