I received a Ryzen 5 2600X with a GTX 970, a 600-watt EVGA 80+ bronze PSU, an M.2 2280 SATA 3,500GB SSD, and the RAM I'm using is G.SKILL Aegis 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 SDRAM at 3200 MHz with Intel XMP 2.0. The ASRock B450M PRO4 AM4 motherboard supports AMD Promontory B450 with USB 3.1, HDMI, and Micro ATX ports. In the UEFI/Bios settings it offers an option to enable XMP, but when I check it, it displays a slightly higher voltage in red compared to the default setting. If I accept and save this change, should it work fine or are there precautions I need to consider before proceeding?

The exact memory kit has been confirmed on the G.Skill memory configurator for that motherboard. This confirms it can operate at the advertised XMP speed on that board.

Yes, the XMP value needs to be set to 1.35v, as this is significantly under the upper limit suggested for DDR4 power supply.

it's possible you're not seeing the right solution, let me check and see what we can do from here.

What slots contain the memory installation. Are you sure the latest motherboard BIOS is up to date?

2 and 4 and the bios isn't in the latest release; I'm behind the bios version by one update.

I came across this page for my motherboard
https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B450M Pro4/#MemoryPR
I don’t see my RAM listed there, so I’m not sure if it’s necessary to include it for overclocking.

I believe I mistakenly inserted the RAM into the incorrect slots, specifically slots 1 and 3 instead of 2 and 4. I'll switch them to slots 2 and 4 right away.
