If it fits in your case, then yeah its fine. You can also just use 1 fan depending on the CPU you have in that slot. Maybe even put the fan on the other side if you have the clearance.

It seems he’ll face the same clearance problem on the other side because of the MSI shroud heatsink. I’d recommend using a Noctua ippc fan and swapping both with one Noctua NF-F12 iPPC 3000 PWM, Heavy Duty Cooling Fan (4-Pin, 3000 RPM, 120mm, Black) for a desktop setup.

It's fine. If the fans aren't sufficient or too noisy, switch to NF A12x25 or BQ SW4. These won't work with Noctuas IPPC; they run at 3000rpm with extremely loud sound (I own an old one).

I would consider this only if absolutely needed. It seems unlikely to require more than one fan, unless the processor is very powerful.

You can place the Phanteks T30 fan centrally. It will apply a firm pressure. This 120mm model offers great balance between noise reduction and performance. Positioning it in the middle delivers similar results to having two units side by side. Just ensure it fits within the case when installing.
