I believe the CMOS was reset correctly. Regarding the second point, you should reinstall Windows now since the bootable drive is no longer available.
I assumed the BIOS settings for the new bootable setup. I plan to check if an update is possible and explore XMP options so I might actually play Overwatch again.
I conducted additional investigation and decided to switch from "Ai tweaker" to DOCP, which seems to be ASUS's equivalent of XMP.
XMP is an Intel feature...so technically AMD can't use that term. Various motherboard makers have their own naming conventions, but with the Ryzen 7000 lineup, 'EXPO' is now officially recognized. ASUS: DOCP stands for DRAM OverClock Profile; Gigabyte lists it as XMP (they didn’t update it); MSi refers to A-XMP, and so on...
