Adjust voltage for i5-1035G1
Hi there, I own the same specs laptop—an Acer model—and I tried undervolting using throttlestop. After doing that on the MX350, the device stayed too hot. I was looking into processor undervolting options but found throttlestop locked in the FIVR. While watching some tutorials, I discovered version 8.7 of the throttlestop isn’t locked.
@Swittzo ThrottleStop 9.4 clearly indicates when the BIOS has secured the voltage control register. Using an outdated version of ThrottleStop fails to unlock anything. Check the monitoring table in the upper right corner of the FIVR window—it will reveal any offset voltages being applied. If the CPU is locked, the display will show +0.0000
