It has been confirmed to function effectively. Please activate these commands by default even if you're not immediately concerned. This solution helped eliminate micro stuttering in GTA 5 on Windows 10, which is why I decided to share it. 1. Execute cmd as administrator 2. Input (bcdedit /set disabledynamictick yes) 3. Results? I'm uncertain if many were aware of this, but I hope it assists you.

I'm going to give this a shot and check if it improves things on the 960. Stutter is one of the main downsides, but otherwise it runs smoothly—though I'm moving to 980 this week. It seems others have had some success with it too. At least the dynamic tick settings really helped my GTX 960! Thanks for the tip—I've set everything high except textures and reflections, which are still very high (no reflection enabled). Ext shadowson and distance scaling is at 30%. GPU clock is around 1525MHz with a memory of 8000MHz.

Runs well on an i5 4570 and GTX 970. It seems to improve performance without noticeable lag. What is its main purpose?

Thanks for the details. I'll save it for later—it seems like a thorough and engaging piece.
