Your citizen ID of 250,000 or less unlocks the ability to join AC multiplayer at https://robertsspaceindustries.com/comm-...s-Expanded. If you're the #250,001 here for support, that's appreciated.

I received the invite but didn’t buy a pack—probably too lazy to spend money on a game built on a scam and that barely showed what it promised. I got my point with DayZ as a standalone version, lol.

The entry fee would apply only for players with numbers higher than 250,000.

IMO what they have now is worth the $45 price of entry, or $35 if you were early enough IDK where you get the idea this is a scam either.

I put in a lot of effort for my earnings, which is why a hanger module and a dogfighting module aren't worth $45. I've been playing this game from the very start, when they planned to stream Twitch streamers to Japan to test it live. The person handling donations didn't actually commit to anything—it was just a scam. The developers who were hired really enjoyed the concept and kept it going.

It seems everyone has their own take on things. For me, $45 covers two movie tickets, snacks, and I’ve gotten more value than that so far. I’ve been following this for about six months now but didn’t know about the Twitch aspect—it might have been a CIG thing or something third-party. Do you have any links? The only person who should be collecting donations or pledges is Chris Roberts, which doesn’t seem likely. It’s a bummer if it’s not next week.

It seems the incentives for contributors have fallen quite short of expectations, at the very least.

Sorry, I don’t have any links. It seems they removed them after the IP changed to Chris Roberts and it became official. I wish I could provide more details, as it was a significant event.

I kind of agree but really the rewards are just marketing, its all stuff they would do anyway its just a showy way of revealing them... TBH it kind of sounds like they really don't want to do them anymore because each time they have to come up with something to reveal on top of what they show in things like wingmans hanger, around the verse, TFTC and other site news but every time they put it to the vote the community votes to keep them going lol. Are you sure you're thinking of the same game? AFAIK the IP was always Chris Roberts (building on his Wing Commander background), he originally started it as a pitch to game producers but when they turned him down claiming space sims wouldn't sell he put it on kickstarter and things took off from there. You'll have to forgive my scepticism but something like that would be fairly hard to hide on the internet with a game like SC.
