Hey everyone, I just purchased an additional 2x8GB RAM kit from Corsair to upgrade my system to 32GB. However, after installing it, the system only reached 2133MHz instead of the expected 3200. I've turned on XMP/DOCP settings, but it still didn't work at the higher frequency. Changing to 3200MHz in DOCP mode caused boot issues. Is it normal for four sticks to only hit 2133MHz? Do you have any advice on how to resolve this, or is this just typical behavior? Thanks in advance, Duski!

The RAM model numbers for both the new and old pairs are listed. The new DIMMs match the specifications of your previous ones.

Upgrade only the new RAM module and discard the old one. Does DOCP function then?

Check the motherboard's make and model. Verify if the old and new RAM sticks share the same model numbers. Review the motherboard manual for details on DIMM slot usage and supported speeds.

They’re identical in part number and speed—ready to test it soon.

Reviewed the manual but didn't locate any information regarding a 3200 setting with all slots active.

Sure, I'll do my best to rephrase it. Let me know if you'd like a different tone or style!

The label on the side of the RAM should display its rated voltage. Begin there and increase it by +, the RAM can handle more power than the CPU, but don’t go too far. If it doesn’t work after 4 + volts, there might be another issue—some CPUs are sensitive to certain RAM types without a valid reason.
