Attempted before, but performance capped at 3.84 across all processors. Can't reach 4.2 even on individual cores.

Under single core load it will increase cores more, while all-core load will decrease. A 3.84GHz speed suggests the chip is running hotter; cooling improves performance. What’s your room temperature? If it’s around 30°C or higher, you’ll need an aftermarket cooler.

Are you verifying the voltage across single, multi, and full core conditions? Each scenario behaves differently because of LLC and vdroop effects. The MSI B450 Tomahawk I’m using with an R5 1600 AF actually experiences core voltage drops when LLC is set to its minimum level while all cores are active. A different board, the Asus X470-F Gaming with a 2700X, shows minimal vcore reduction even at the least aggressive LLC setting. Regardless of the setup, this CPU should operate stably using significantly lower voltages than 1.4 or 1.3. Consider applying a -0.050 offset, then adjust to -0.100 if stable, and further reduce if needed. The 1600 AF is running at -0.150 (71W TDP) with the lowest LLC, while the 2700X operates at -0.100 (170W) under the same conditions. Both maintain self-clocking up to their maximum limits without issues, even surpassing the advertised all-core boost during lighter workloads. The hotter 2700X also manages its full speed with undervolt, cooling down and quieting more while still self-clocking faster if supported. Your 3600 on the Stealth cooler presents a challenge. I think lowering the voltage and reducing TDP to around 70-75W should allow it to self-clock efficiently with PBO and XFR, potentially achieving speeds better than your manual overclock. Give it a try while you look for an improved cooler!

However, during Cinebench R20 performance, the individual cores are drawing around 1.4V, multi-threaded about 1.3V, single-threaded near 1.35V. When I run the multi-threaded Cinebench test, my temperatures reach up to 83°C and on single-core it's around 65°C. Also, the RAM voltage was set by the OC tuner at 1.35V, but I changed it to 1.34V now.

85c isn't the finish line. In real-life gaming or similar situations, you won't face challenges like CBR20. Prepare to upgrade your cooler later. Don't worry about the 85c CBR20 test.

Check gaming performance with overclock enabled and disabled—stick to the settings that deliver measurable gains. I see others sharing that stock configurations on 3600 chips perform well in games... ymmv. From my perspective, an 85c can reach 85c briefly under stress when using an aftermarket cooler, though it’s not consistently bad if you notice actual improvement. My 8700k may briefly hit 85c during stress tests with an aftermarket air cooler.
