Account issue detected, origin compromised!
I tried playing BF4 but couldn't log in or update my password. I didn’t receive any emails, so I checked older messages and found two Christmas emails with a link to "Gyazo." When I clicked it, a pop-up appeared offering help, but there was no mention of being hacked. The EA support seemed unreliable. Anyone have any suggestions? Contact them and ensure they have all the necessary details, including the product key for your games and accurate information about your own games.
Reach out via phone or email for assistance. The service should be free of charge. Make sure to provide documentation proving your account ownership.
You can reach out via email by finding their official address on their website or checking their contact page.
You may visit the support pages at http://help.ea.com/en/origin/ or http://help.ea.com/en/contact-us. Logging in is usually required to submit a case. At the very least, I had to do it myself. While you were writing this, the response was unhelpful—couldn’t you have shared the details directly with the person asking?
Gaben is here to assist, though it's a bit confusing. I notice this issue often occurs. I hope EA doesn't charge for their support. They did this to me before and I no longer purchase games from them.
During the time OP spent drafting his numerous questions, wouldn’t he have been able to get the information through Google? There comes a moment when people need to rely on themselves. I would have happily provided OP with the details if I were home. Sadly, I was away and couldn’t simply put it all away. I tried my best to be useful, though I leaned a bit sarcastic—after all, that’s what the internet is for.
