I don't believe it's actually resolved; I think Valve just stopped using it in competitions. I'm not entirely sure, but it was pretty funny—no similar situation has ever happened before.
It's now set as per the patch notes I read. Creeps are staying in the middle of the lane and waiting instead of going around to reach the forest for their destination. Also, Dota 2 > lol. I think it's meant to be a challenge for mistakes. The game feels more rewarding for good play and harsher on careless errors. That's intense, right? Less skill compared to League? Just...wow.
LoL vs Dota 2 sounds interesting, but honestly I prefer Smite right now. LoL feels different compared to Dota 2, and Smite is my favorite MOBA so far.
I don't believe you've played or watched long enough to grasp the game's mechanics. While there are heroes that directly face off against specific opponents, the game extends far beyond just those characters. Certain strategies can render hero counters ineffective. Even when facing a strong lane that seems to counter you, your team can still win through ganking or superior individual abilities.
Yes because i'm a "fanboy" lol, christ are you reading what you type? You ARE wrong stating that Dota is a game of counter picking hero's and Lol is for those with "skillz". There's a helluva lot more skill involved in dota's denying, ward placement, smoke ganks, skill combos and player placement and baiting that ive ever seen in a game of LoL. But no worries, you carry on your angly little way and leave the thread, i was under the impression i was discussing. Not arguing.
