Coming from a huge LoL player (gold, all champs, S1, etc.), I recently switched to Dota 2 and i'm having so much more fun. Theres just a bigger range of heros/champs/whatever both skill wise and type. I like the pacing better, the more previalant use of teamwork, and the bigger skill gap. IMHO I like Dota 2 alot better then LoL and will be playing it more.

It's hard to say which one is better. Both games are excellent but have less friendly communities. Why? They’re super bright, free to play, easy to switch tabs, which really attracts young players. I think it’s best to try both for a couple of weeks and see what you prefer. If you have friends who play one, you’ll likely stick with it. Just pick a game, ignore the annoying ones, and have fun. Peace.

I'm a seasoned Dota 2 player who's noticed the game has many more factors affecting gameplay. One key point highlighted earlier is preventing your own creepers from getting past in Dota 2. Many overlook this, especially at lower skill levels. At over 4200 MMR, controlling your lane early is crucial. Keeping creep waves near your tower makes it tougher for opponents to gank you and easier for your team to target the enemy player. In mid lane, the 25% chance of missing attacks uphill helps you survive longer and lets you use fog of war to harass or start early. On the flip side, pushing the lane lets you quickly gather runes without losing much XP or stack jungle creepers. This simple strategy really shifts the balance.

Been playing league for a really long time now, roughly a year, one of my favorite games by far tbh. The only problem is it's somewhat difficult to learn, and takes a really long time to get "above average" but the skill-cap ceiling is huge, you can always find something to improve about your in-game skills.
