Your readings during tests reach 80-83°C, which is typical for a Noctua D15 under load.

Looks fine as expected. The default setting shows room for up to 95°C, which indicates effective cooling even at about 80°C under high demand.

Yes, that is the maximum fan speed.

It’s unlikely the extra noise is worth it. I’m not sure upgrading the fan would help much. 140mm fans have improved a lot lately. My D15 has two fans plus a low-speed ADPater, but it’s running at 6600k—so I guess the CPU stays cool enough anyway. If the room temperature is around 20°C, that should be fine. Pretty good actually X3D CPU's run hot because of the cache. If its on auto you even have room to set a negative curve with curve optimizer to get higher clocks. This will result in higher temperature though.

I might be overanalyzing, but with a Noctua D15 I thought the temperature would be lower. Probably just normal after all.

It's really hot inside the CPU. I usually see similar temperatures on the 5800X3D, and possibly a bit warmer with the NH-D15.

X3D chips function this way, the heat buildup is manageable. Since they don’t generate much heat, the main issue lies with the X3D cache’s ability to release warmth efficiently.
