Adjust the bolts until they cease movement, consistently. The cooler holds 1000g weight prior to attaching fans.

Do you own this specific cooler? It seems the screws don’t turn until the unit is fully loaded, and I faced the same problem as the original poster—gradually lowering the temperature from 78°C to 71°C by turning each screw a quarter at a time. Just because you can explain it doesn’t mean it solves the issue, especially since the person asking doesn’t care about winning an argument.

Actually, the hardware hasn't been mentioned in this part of the conversation. Your input here seems focused on recommending a replacement, so I didn't respond with a suggestion. If you're looking for alternatives, let me know!

You're suggesting that a bit of extra tightening is acceptable, especially since you're confident in your setup. Your advice comes from real-world experience with different cooling solutions, and it seems you're prioritizing performance over perfection. Just keep in mind that with a single cooler, you might not have the same insights as someone with multiple units.
