I attempted to reach 4GHz at 1.3V but the system crashed. It's unclear if the issue was a faulty component or my configuration. The temperatures stayed under 60°C during overclocking. MOBO: Gigabyte x470 Ultra Gaming PSU: EVGA 1000w
Observe the chip voltages. Analyze performance at 4.0 GHz turbo; my 1700X registers 1.55 V at 3.9 GHz, suggesting similar values around +200 MHz on Zen+, around 4.1 GHz. Adjust voltage until it stabilizes. I typically run P95 for stress tests. (Basic FFTs for core, extensive for memory/fabric)
Requires 1.4v at 4.2ghz on R7 1700. Slight adjustments: 1.393v at 4.1ghz, 1.375v at 4.0ghz (golden sample available)
