Uncertain if it could also be the IMC for my CPU with Ryzen 3600 on ASRock B450M Pro4 at 3200MHz. It worked, and there were two reasons: I used only two sticks and two Zen2 instead of Zen+ because Zen2 supports 3200MHz natively. Still, if you really need it to function, maybe it’s possible to overclock it, but it would be a challenge. I’d prefer checking if the CL also dropped by one before trying anything else.

It was also four sticks. Not every CPU is the same, and you're right—CL can drop even if the MHz decrease is included!
