I own four 16GB cards from TridentZ, yet they don’t reach the claimed 3200MHz. I’ve tried turning on XMP/DOCP in BIOS, but it doesn’t help. When I set it to 3200MHz it crashes into a boot loop, and CPU-Z shows readings around 1061 or 2133. It seems XMP isn’t effective. Note: My system is a 2700x, B450-f with an RX580, using an X62 cooler and an EVGA 850G3 power supply.
What processor is used? Update the BIOS. Configure the SOC to 1.1 Dram at 1.35. Test with 2933 using docp (if Zen+), otherwise 3200 if Zen 2. Boot it, run memtest86 and OCCT to ensure stability. Quad sticks may add capacity but increase stress on the IMX and interconnects; setting the SOC helps a bit. Good luck. Edited June 23, 2020 by TofuHaroto

Check if the board supports 3200MHz and verify the maximum speed listed. If it doesn’t match, the speed restriction might be due to compatibility issues.
In fact, with identical clock speeds and settings, quad sticks and dual-rank sticks provide greater bandwidth compared to dual sticks or single-rank sticks. This contributes to why they place more stress on the IMC. Quad dual-rank sticks, likely what this is, are particularly tough on the IMC.
