Uh...not looking great, at least in the UK anyways: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/amd-ryzen...bc-am.html I bought a 3900x a few days ago after waiting months for the 3950x, cause I saw threads on many different sites reporting that there was supply issues for it. Don't regret it. Used the extra money to get a new phone and a new mouse instead.

Really? It took just three minutes and it was completely sold out? That’s insane. I’m in Europe, specifically Portugal. No stores have it available yet. No pre-orders either. Total confusion!

For the U.S., I've found four stores listing the 3950x: Newegg, Amazon, Best Buy, and B&H. Only Newegg and B&H currently have active product pages. Newegg shows the item is sold out and hasn't been available before. B&H marks it as "coming soon" with a notification option. The latest update was posted just two hours ago. All listings are under review; it seems retailers haven't fully set items up yet, and pages are still being added. Product links: Newegg and B&H pages provided.

The main issue I see is that I also got an email from Newegg. But the message saying "It’s Here: 3950x" is just a daily promo and not an official stock alert like you’d find on a product page. The 3950x site showed up only three minutes after that email was sent, and it still doesn’t let you see if it’s in stock. During the 3900x launch this was true too. That’s why I’m unsure it was actually available. It would make Newegg stand out as the only store with a live page showing inventory, unlike Amazon or Best Buy. As someone working at Best Buy, I can also test that there’s no public SKU for sale there. But Best Buy is selling the chip, so I think the 3950x listing is just a temporary placeholder until other retailers update their stock later.

The only details provided indicate the 3950x was listed as an active SKU on Newegg starting at 5 am Central time, though its product page wasn’t active until 7 am. This information comes from a help desk representative.
