At the cost of 5600x versus 9700k, and since I don’t require such high performance for streaming or gaming, I believe the 9700k is the better choice.

I have limited knowledge of computers, but it seems Ryzen 7s generally outperform Ryzen 5s.

Tasks like video editing, animation, and transcoding gain advantages from more cores. Streaming offers benefits up to a certain point, but if the system has sufficient power to handle it, additional cores or speed improvements aren’t necessary. Multitasking workloads also mean you can run background tasks on fewer cores while keeping other activities active, such as rendering on a 6-core chip with a game using 2 cores.
