Your Windows 8.1 installation includes both a 32-bit and a 64-bit disk. Since your processor is an AD FX 6300, it supports 64-bit applications, so you should use the 64-bit disk for optimal performance.
Many users are still using 32-bit processors, and you can't simply replace that support. (Also, systems with limited RAM are common.) W10 also offers a 32-bit version.
