32-bit or 64-bit
32-bit or 64-bit
For a 64-bit processor, choose a 64-bit operating system. If not, your performance will be restricted to 32-bit...
I would choose 32, that's what I'm aiming for. I'm facing some problems with my WM. A 32-bit setup is the most reliable choice, as @ AnnoyedShelf mentioned. Running on 64-bit might not be ideal with limited RAM. Just stick with 32; you won't need the extra features if you're just testing a tech preview.
I've rarely come across 64-bit machines with just 2 GB of memory... But you're correct, right?
Got it through trial and error. Put 64-bit Ubuntu on my dad’s old laptop. Performance was terrible. Quickly moved to 32-bit version.
