The interpretation of data suggests a lack of clear connection. Clearly, 16 cores with hyperthreading accomplish a similar total output compared to 8 cores with HT and 16 E cores. Focusing on Cinebench R23 results, both the 7950X and 13900k perform almost identically. This implies that with an equal number of logical cores, performance remains nearly consistent. Therefore, it seems more beneficial to prioritize having 2 Ecores handling significant tasks rather than relying solely on 8 cores with HT. This reasoning supports my stance, though I'm open to further discussion (for now). Edited December 7, 2022 by Maxxtraxx

I really enjoy the 7950X, though it can sometimes get a bit intense. I’ve installed it on an Asus x670e-e with Wi-Fi. However, it doesn’t work well with Armourycrate at all.

I've noticed many folks saying the 5800X3D is superior for gaming. You might want to hold off and consider the 7700X3D instead, as those two top models are likely to become outdated soon.

They didn't mean Intel had just 8 cores and Hyper-Threading makes it worse compared to 8 cores without Hyper-Threading plus 8 E-cores.

The ones that fit are: "Which ones are?" and "I'd like to hear it."

It's unclear if your approach is based on Cinebench or an entirely random stress test unrelated to actual usage. Perhaps you should reassess this. I've already inquired, and it seems we may never have a clear answer... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Do you have supporting information available? I'm working to align my thoughts with the relevant data.

The outcome really hinges on the task load, yet it’s clear this unboxed hardware video highlights a substantial difference in performance between the P and E cores.

it’s often believed that e-core chips aren’t very beneficial for gaming, though i feel this “chart” is pretty disappointing. why not look at how 6p cores stack up against 6p plus 4e cores? that could really show the impact they have or if anything at all. objectively speaking, but it’s just a personal take—always mixed with storytelling.

The article examines performance data from the 12900k, highlighting comparisons between an 8-core 6700k and a 7-year-old 4-core/8-thread processor. Results indicate several tight performance overlaps, raising questions about whether a 7-year-old CPU can match newer Ecores or if Ecores perform similarly to Skylake.
