I’d still be able to use X299 Dark on another PC without any issues. It’s interesting how Intel made such a mistake. Back then I had 1800X and 2700X for their price, but now I’m looking for both good value and performance.

Well... the 3950X is hard to find, but at least there's evidence that it exists. I've been trying to get a 10980XE for quite some time and it's just not a thing.

It's possible to apply it to different projects depending on your financial situation. Yes, Intel has certainly lost a lot of trust and influence. It hasn't been a positive year for them at all. Still, AMD has successfully combined quality and speed for users. This seems like the best moment to invest in their system if you want strong performance with good value compared to Intel.
