Performance will also vary based on how Zen 3 stacks up against previous generations like Zen 2, Comet Lake, and Rocket Lake. The main concern seems to be that some motherboards from the 4 series don’t have sufficient BIOS memory for Zen 3, not because of a technical barrier but due to marketing missteps. Manufacturers might be avoiding announcements to prevent negative publicity, similar to how certain claims about specific models can cause major issues. Ultimately, AMD should limit such announcements to avoid major controversy and potential media backlash.
