Looking for an MB for Zen 3 (B550,X570). You need a model that supports Zen 3 now and not next year, preferably a B550 instead of X570. After checking options, I’m focusing on the MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk, aiming to keep costs under 200 euros or 180 pounds.
Exact location and details about the power source are unclear. For Zen 3 support, AMD released an AGESA code update that added compatibility before its official release. If your board includes a BIOS flashback button, you might be able to update it without a CPU installed. However, more information is needed about the specific hardware.
Denmark The Zen 3 Ryzen 5000 CPU isn't coming out yet, I'll go with a Ryzen 3000 instead. If you've looked it up, you'll know the MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk works with flashback without an RX 5600 XT or similar, like a RTX 3060, 2070, 2080, 1 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD, and one SATA SSD.
I understand that. I mentioned it if the board includes a bios flashback option you can refresh the BIOS without needing the CPU installed. Gigabyte B550 AORUS PRO ATX AM4 is priced at 1398.00kr. The B550 Tomahawk is also recommended, generally falling between 140-200 euros.
It's just that with the same budget I can obtain an X570 model.
im not going crazy, im not gonna use anything faster than a 6 core 5600x or if theres a good deal i might use a 3700x, like when people just have to sell there gpu to get a 30.. there might be people that just have to sell there 8 core ryzen and might sell it for a good deal under the price of a 5600x (it's after all the same price for a new 3700x as a new 5600x so a 3700x has to be alot cheaper) MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS,MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI,ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus if i where to get a M-Atx mb (B550) i would have more mb's to choose from.
The gaming plus and its advantages stand out, though the x570 TUF Plus performs well too. If you're looking for alternatives, the B550M Mortar or B550M TUF Plus are solid options. The boards I mentioned earlier—B550 A Pro, Aorus Pro, Tomahawk, Strix F—are also reliable choices.
I can visit the site, but only the B550 model is available; there’s just one X570 version, which I’d rather avoid because I have room for an ATX model.
