I often come across reports about Asrock adding Zen 3 support to their older X370 boards, though I rarely see detailed test videos. Do you happen to have any links to articles or videos that actually demonstrate this? If the support on the X370 is confirmed and it performs well, what are your thoughts on the X670? Would it be better to use a platform running three or four generations of Zen (like X370) instead of sticking with the B660, which only supports newer architectures? Also, should we consider choosing a high-end platform that lasts five years or more?

There isn't much attention to it since the x370 boards weren't widely used and most early Ryzen users didn't go to the 5th generation. Things will eventually catch on. Still, it should function fine.

What are your thoughts on X670? Would it be developed across three to four generations, similar to the X370 lineup (Zen, Zen+, Zen 2, Zen 3)?

The situation involves several challenges. First, AMD is transitioning to LGA. Second, TSMC is facing difficulties achieving 3nm yield. There are concerns about compatibility of chipsets with smaller components that aren't widely available yet. The balance between supply and demand remains uncertain, though the list might stretch further before reaching a conclusion.

Asrock offered a BIOS that works with 5 series on just one of their motherboards. For other x370 models, you'll need an unofficial version, which means it has some compromises—like missing NVME support. For details, check the link provided: https://www.hardwaretimes.com/amds-ryzen...fficially/

I don't have a crystal ball. It's really hard to predict.
