Get a ryzen 5 3600 now with B450 tomahawk max and 16gb 3400 out 3600mhz ram and call it a day...prices are cheap on these parts right now and it's more performance than you need anyways, and it's a massive upgrade over your current stuff which you could sell online to get some money back...making. this a very cheap upgrade.

It's expected to launch in Q3 or Q4 of this year unless there are any setbacks. If you need immediate access, consider upgrading now and patience if possible.

That was the original concept, but because he said "just around the corner" I realized there might be new updates about Zen3, apparently not. After searching, the earliest info I saw was late September, which feels a bit too early to expect them on the market at that time. Thanks everyone, I’ll finalize my decision in about a month—first things first with some university work. If AMD doesn’t comment more on ZEN 3, it should be the 3600 build, which is really a good deal.
