The Z97 Anniversary is popular for boosting the G3258 performance with just a few clicks. My issue is that pressing the overclock button doesn't make any difference; I went to my computer settings and it remains at 3.20 GHz even when I set it to 4.0 GHz. Anyone familiar with this motherboard can tell me what's happening? If no one has this setup, what’s the simplest method to overclock the G3258?

Windows will continue to show the CPU's original speed even after overclocking. To confirm the real clock speed, use a tool such as CPU-Z.
