I'm sorry to let you down, but after a thorough investigation, I believe I've discovered something promising. The GIGABYTE Z790 AERO G is available at $299. It includes a PCIe 5.0 M.2 port, WiFi6E, and solid VRM cooling. While it may not be ideal for advanced overclocking, it offers all the key features I was seeking in my initial search. Notably, it has a PCIe x16 lane for the GPU even though its current application isn't clear. I wanted to share this opportunity in case anyone interested in budget-friendly PCIe Gen5 options for the Z790 is looking around.

I misunderstood your request—this board only supports 1 and 1220 audio channels, not MULTIPLE gen 5 slots or 4080 audio. I’m glad it fits your setup!

I thought using the top PCI-5 port would reduce the lane count from 16 to 8? I own a Z790 board but haven’t tested it yet. I’m using two PCI-4 slots for NVMe and my 4090 is showing 16X4.
